- Almost 20 years ago from now, Mr. Zenjiro Okamoto (the developer of Pair Loupe) had a trouble with reading and etc. as he felt not able to see small letters gradually as aged. However, reading for long hours with a ready-made magnifier caused his eyes really tired and it was hard. Mr.Okamoto hit upon an idea if he could look it using both eyes, it must have been easier to look. Firstly, he curved 1 piece of lens and stuck 2 pieces of lens, also added nose expectation and string then made glasses style loupe. He tried to look into and he was able to see the letters comfortably very well.
